Addressing
On special shipments, the sender's and addressee's addresses are written by the sender. The following information is indicated on the address side of the special shipment:
- in the upper–right corner, depending on the nature of the attachment, there is a security label or a note;
- in the lower right corner is the address, name or surname, proper name, patronymic (if any) of the sender (for packages, the dimensions and gross weight are additionally indicated);
- in the upper–left corner is the address, name or surname, proper name, patronymic (if any) of the addressee;
- in the lower left corner is the outgoing number of the forwarded attachment.
The sender's and addressee's addresses are indicated in the following order: region, district, locality, street, house and room numbers, and phone number (if available). When forwarding special items outside the Republic of Belarus, the country of destination is additionally indicated.
The addresses, the name of the legal entity or the surname, proper name, patronymic (if any) of the individual entrepreneur must be written in ink or ballpoint pen (black, blue or purple) clearly and without abbreviations.
All data indicated on a special shipment can be applied using technical means.
All information indicated on the package must be printed in a font size of at least 0.7 cm.
Corrections to the sender's and addressee's addresses are prohibited. In exceptional cases, the sender may make changes with the date, surname and signature of the person who made the changes, certified by the seal of the sender.
The recipient and sender addresses are indicated on the envelope of a special shipment or by affixing an address label. When an address label is affixed by the sender, a seal impression is affixed in such a way that part of the seal impression is affixed to the shell of the special shipment and part to the address label.
On parcels packed in bags, the addresses of the sender and addressee, and other necessary information are written on the tag.
It is allowed to paste an address label on the tag. In this case, the ends of the twine are passed through the address label into the tag hole, tied and sealed or sealed.
It is allowed to indicate the address and other necessary data on the address tags, which are attached to the package and sealed in such a way that they cannot be removed without damaging the seal.
The sender is responsible for inaccuracies in the address, name or surname, proper name, patronymic (if any) of the addressee (sender).
