Experts noted that Internet users independently provide up to 90% of the data collected about them. Before specifying such information, it is worth asking about the need for disclosure.
As noted by Dmitry Shepelev, Deputy head of the Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Minsk City Executive Committee Police Department, who took part in a single information day at the Minsk City Hall.
Scammers focus on convincing a person to provide some data himself, transfer money or make a payment. Both young people and elderly citizens become victims of cybercriminals, it is difficult to single out a specific category.
