With the advent of the long—awaited winter holidays — New Year and Christmas - the country has traditionally increased attention to security issues. In order for the holidays to be joyful and without emergencies, from December 15 to January 7, the Ministry of Emergency Situations workers are holding a republican information and propaganda campaign "Safe New Year!".

As part of the campaign, rescuers will visit educational institutions and conduct interactive classes for schoolchildren:

informative conversations about the rules of behavior during the winter holidays;
games and quizzes;
reminders of the rules of behavior on ice and in everyday life.

   Such meetings help children not only have fun, but also consolidate important knowledge that can preserve their health and life.
  The main activities will take place in outdoor areas, large shopping malls, markets and Christmas markets. Rescuers, along with firefighter Santa Claus, Snow Maiden and fairy-tale characters, will congratulate residents on the upcoming holidays and remind them of the importance of following safety rules.
   Guests will enjoy:

themed quizzes and contests;
holiday lotteries;
distribution of visual and visual products;
prize draws;
creative gifts from artists and bands.

Each participant will be able not only to receive useful information, but also to recharge with a festive mood.
