On February 6, the final board meeting of the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus was held. It discussed issues of the socio-economic development of the industry for January-December 2024, and set tasks for 2025.
As the Minister of Communications and Informatization Konstantin Shulgan said, the main indicator reflecting the work of the organizations of the Ministry of Communications is investment in fixed assets. And for January-December 2024, it was fulfilled in full and amounted to 104.8%.
Investments are the source of our further development, the minister emphasized.
The head of the industry also focused on the fact that, based on the results of the year, the Ministry of Communications as a whole ensured the fulfillment of the indicator for reducing the level of costs for the production and sale of products.
Taking measures to reduce costs in all sectors of the economy is an instruction of the Head of State. Since 2025, this indicator has also become a target for the Ministry of Communications. Therefore, I draw the attention of the heads of organizations to its further strict implementation, - the minister noted.
The minister also highlighted the worthy results of work in the main areas of the industry's activity.
The head of the industry also outlined the tasks for 2025.
The basis is the 4 target indicators set by the government. In particular, the growth rate of investment in fixed assets, the growth rate of computer, telecommunications and information services, and a reduction in the level of costs for production and sales of products. But in addition to these, the industry also retains other benchmarks.
The tasks for 2025 are ambitious. But the communications specialists have never let anyone down and have carried out what they were assigned in all areas, the minister emphasized.
